Sound Character

The Dark series is known for combining brightness and darkness: the tone is bright with a clear shimmer, but the extra hammering adds a fuller bottom end that makes the sound more complex than a standard splash. Pitch sits in the medium-high range, sustain is short and volume is medium. A cymbal that cuts through clearly without overpowering the mix.

Construction

The cymbal is cast from B10 alloy (90% copper, 10% tin) and produced using a computer-controlled Hi-Tech process. A special heat treatment formula gives the Dark series both its dark look and its characteristic sound.

Who It's For

Great for drummers across several genres. Rock, metal, pop and fusion. Who want a fast, distinctive splash to spice up their grooves.
