10" Sabian Chopper Effects Cymbal

Product Description

The Sabian Chopper is a 10" effects cymbal built from three layers of custom-cut bronze, designed to produce rapidfire, white-noise bursts with a raw, dirty, funky character. It fits on a standard cymbal stand and works great for fast, punchy accents, raw rhythms and tight rolls.

• Three layers of custom-cut bronze deliver raw, dirty, funky sounds
• Rapidfire bursts of white noise that cut through the mix with precision and clarity
• Exclusive innovation from the SABIAN Vault team
• Protected by SABIAN's Two-Year Warranty

Sound and Feel

The Chopper's innovative 3-layer design creates fast, almost white-noise-like bursts of sound. Rather than a clean, singing tone, the character is raw, dirty and funky, making it an effective tool for short, snappy accents. The attack stays clear and defined even in a dense mix thanks to its precise, cutting character.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want to add a unique, noisy effect sound to your drum kit or percussion setup. Well suited for fast, punchy accents, raw grooves and tight rolls where a standard crash or splash won't do the job.
