Product Description
Evans Calftone is a synthetic 10" drumhead that recreates the look and warm tone of traditional calfskin heads, combined with the reliability and fit of a modern Evans 360 head. A good choice if you love the vintage tone but want to skip the moisture and temperature sensitivity of real calfskin.

Construction and Tone
The head is made from 7 mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clear tone of calfskin, in a stable synthetic build. The result is a head that gives you the best of the vintage heads – the look and the warm, open tone – without the drawbacks of a natural head.
Flexible Use
Calftone can be used both as a batter head and as a resonant head, making it a flexible choice whether you want to replace a full set of heads or just chase a specific tone on one side of the drum.
