10"/18" Meinl Classics Custom Dark Effects Pack - Dark

Product Description

The Meinl Classics Custom Dark Effects Pack CCD-CS3 is a pack of two effects cymbals from the Classics Custom Dark series: a 10" splash and an 18" china. It's an easy way to add fresh colors to an existing cymbal setup, carrying the dark, heavily hammered character of the whole Dark series.

• Includes a 10" splash and an 18" china
• Fast attack with a bright, clear shimmer over a dark low end
• Extra hammering adds fullness and warmth usually found in pricier series
• Works across genres such as rock, metal, pop and fusion

Sound and Construction

The cymbals are made from B10 bronze (90% copper, 10% tin) using computer-controlled manufacturing. A special heat treatment gives both the dark, hammered look and the wide sound spectrum the B10 alloy allows. The result is a bright tone laced with a dark low end and a medium-high pitch, medium sustain with a distinct shimmer trail, and medium volume with a brilliant edge.

What's Included

The pack includes:

• 1 x CC10DAS. Classics Custom Dark 10" Splash
• 1 x CC18DACH. Classics Custom Dark 18" China

Who It's For

A good choice if you already have a cymbal setup and want to add two distinct effect sounds without buying them separately. The splash for short accents, the china for a raw, trashy touch.
