10"/12"/14" Meinl HCS Smack Stack Cymbal Stack Set of 3

Product Description

The Meinl HCS Smack Stack is a 3-piece cymbal stack in 10", 12" and 14" built to mimic the handclap sound of an analog drum machine. The discs are made from MS63 brass alloy and specially matched to deliver that distinct smack character. A budget-friendly way to add a completely new percussive texture to your kit.

• Unique sound mimicking analog drum machine handclaps
• 3 Medium-Thin discs in 10", 12" and 14"
• Made from MS63 brass alloy
• Specially designed and matched configuration
• Easy sustain control via the cymbal stand's wing nut

Sound and feel

The stack is designed to reinforce the backbeat or accent syncopations within a groove. Its sound resembles a handclap rather than a traditional crash or splash, making it a great way to break up a pattern with something unexpected.

Adjusting sustain

Tightening or loosening the wing nut on your cymbal stand controls how long the sound rings out. High pressure gives short, tight accents, while lower pressure allows for longer sustain.
