Hybrid shells with a refined voice

The Walnut/Birch recipe is designed to deliver rich low-to-mid body while keeping articulation and clarity upfront. The toms (rack and floor) use 6 mm shells with 4 plies of Birch plus 2 inner plies of Black Walnut, creating a warm foundation with defined stick response. The bass drum is built for extra punch and stability with an 8 mm shell: 5 plies of Birch plus 2 inner plies of American Black Walnut.

Hardware made for resonance and fast setup

Star-Cast Mounting provides a slim, resonant suspension system that helps the drums speak freely while making placement easy in any setup. Quick-Lock floor tom leg brackets speed up load-in and act as memory locks, so your positions stay consistent gig after gig. The MTH1000 tom holder offers solid stability and wide adjustability for a comfortable, natural playing angle.

Focused tone and premium details

Die-Cast Hoops add a more focused sound and make tuning feel stable and precise. On the bass drum, cast Claw Hooks with protective rubber spacers help preserve the finish and reduce unwanted mechanical vibration. Cushioned Floor Tom Legs with an air-pocket rubber design help prevent resonance loss, keeping your floor tom open and full.

Ready to play with EVANS heads

This kit comes fitted with EVANS® heads: G2 Clear batter heads on the toms for control and attack, and an EQ4 batter head on the bass drum for a punchy, mix-friendly thump. A matching 14" x 6.5" snare is available as an add-on if you want the complete look and sound.
